For Sporting Clubs
Tell us what you have. It doesn’t need to be organised. We’ll help work out what can realistically be preserved.
Your starting point
Different records lead into the same careful RecordRoom service.
Turn carefully maintained spreadsheets, databases or statistics into a connected archive people can explore.
Assess annual reports, files, websites, scorebooks and honour boards, then bring the usable history together.
Start with what can be verified now and allow the archive to grow as further records are found.
Records we can use
RecordRoom assesses, extracts, reconciles and structures the information a club already has.

Organised records
RecordRoom builds on the work of club historians and statisticians, turning carefully maintained information into a connected public experience.

Scattered history
RecordRoom compares sources, identifies gaps and reconciles information where the evidence supports it.
Starting with less
Modern records can form the first reliable archive layer. Older history can be added as further source material becomes available.
If information has not survived or cannot be supported by a reliable source, RecordRoom will not invent it.
What we can build
Choose a view to see how genuine Stirling archive material brings club history together. Available features depend on the records and agreed scope.

Player profiles connect seasons, career records, honours and service beyond the playing field.
Your club’s records
Your club’s role
Your club is not expected to build the database, design the archive or manually prepare everything before contacting RecordRoom.
Our role
Understand the records, coverage and archive structure.
Organise and carefully resolve historical information.
Create the connected archive experience.
Quality-assure the work and complete club review.
Launch the archive and support future growth through Archive Care.
Historical accuracy
Preserve what is known.
Identify what is incomplete.
Never turn uncertainty into fact.
Missing information is not automatically treated as zero. The archive can show that a value is unavailable, unknown or outside the available coverage.
When sources disagree, the evidence is assessed. If a conflict cannot be resolved responsibly, the uncertainty remains visible.
People are not merged simply because their names look similar. Identity decisions need supporting evidence.
When records differ by era, the archive explains those limits instead of suggesting every period is equally complete.
Your existing website
Your main website can continue handling news, fixtures, registrations and current club operations. RecordRoom provides a dedicated historical destination that can be linked from it.
From existing records
RecordRoom archives can begin with structured databases, spreadsheets, annual reports, PDFs, historical documents and other existing club material. The Stirling Saints archive shows how those records can become a connected club-history platform spanning players, matches, honours, club service and historical events.
RecordRoom’s current archive work spans Australian rules football and cricket.
